ABOUT US

OUR BEEKEEPERS & THEIR LOCATIONS

Each shipment of our honey can be referenced to their locality to ensure traceability of our product.

Every bee colony can forage up to a radius of 3 km from its hive. An area of such is able to sustain about 200 hives having a population 60,000 bees in each hive.
The type of agriculture and vegetation greatly impact the quality of honey produced by the bees.
As such Uganda Honey pays careful studies to the locality of her beekeeper's colonies and ensure that beekeeping among our beekeepers are as organic and sustainable as possible.

Each shipment of our honey can be referenced to their locality to ensure traceability of our product. Below is a map where Uganda Honey is harvested throughout the year.

Every batch of our honey is tested at The University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany. Should you like a digital copy of the test report, please drop us an email here.
